I’layan is an active lawyer who obtained a Master’s degree in law despite his interest in culture. He is a short story writer and a critical-studies scholar. He published a collection of short stories entitled “Hours before Dawn”, and the book “Bahaa’ is Within Us And With Us”. He is a member of several committees that perform in the field of human rights, and he previously was a member of the administrative assembly of “El Hakawati”.
