By becoming a member of the El-Hakawati Friends’ Network, you are joining a network of the friends and the supporters of this theatre throughout the world, which enables you to closely monitor and be familiar with its cultural and artistic activities that are launched from Jerusalem.

By joining the Network of the Friends of the El-Hakawati, you contribute to the continuation of the Theatre’s main activities, and the expansion of its scope of work to include additional cultural and artistic activities in Jerusalem and Palestine. Nonetheless, joining this network guarantees the El-Hakawati’s independence in terms of its financial income which is mainly provided by its audience and friends.

The El-Hakawati Theatre ensures that its friends’ contributions are used directly to support the spatial existence of the Theatre which is located in one of Jerusalem’s oldest buildings that, subsequently, requires both continuous care and continuous activities.

The Theatre maintains contact with its friends through a quarterly bulletin that is sent through email service, in addition to a one-time yearly report that summarizes the activities and the partnerships that the Theatre achieved throughout the year. The Theatre also communicates with its friends and audience through its social media platforms in order to keep them informed of the Theatre’s latest activities and news.
