Wa’el Abu A’rafeh

Dr. Abu A’rafeh was born in the city of Jerusalem in 1958. He obtained a high school degree from the Arabic Institute in 1977 to grow into not only a well-known doctor, but also the founder of the Urinary Tract Section at St. Joseph Hospital in Jerusalem. He is a member of the High Scientific committee at the Palestinian Medical Council and the Arabic Council of Surgical Specializations, a member of the Arab American European Society of Urinary Tract Surgery, and a member of the Scientific Academy in New York. Dr. Abu A’rafeh, besides his career as a doctor, held a special passion for arts; he is a poet, a writer, and a member of the Palestinian Writers’ Association, and the Writers’ association of Asia and Africa.
